Printer Ink
What is the most important part of any printer? The ink, of course! Using the right ink for your printer mean producing clear, sharp images and text every time you print something; using the wrong ink for your printer means printing blurry images, unclear text, or worse, an ink leakage in your printer. Installing the wrong ink cartridges in your printer can ruin your printer. Ink for printers is a very specialized thing; printer ink cartridges must be compatible with your printer, or you could soon find yourself shopping for a new printer. Printer Ink Refills – Yes Or No? The subject of computer printer ink refills is the subject of much debate. Printer manufactures say that every time your printer runs out of ink, you have to purchase a brand new printer ink cartridge. Many other people say that that is just a ploy to make you spend more money. These people say you can get your ink cartridges refilled for a fraction of the price of new ink cartridges. Who is right? That depends on your printer and what you use your printer for. If you have a basic printer you use mainly to print black and white text pages, ink refills are probably fine for you. If you print more complex jobs, and depend on your printer for your livelihood, then buying a new ink cartridge is worth the extra investment.
Cheap Printer Ink
Another touchy subject in the world of printer ink is whether or not you have to buy name brand ink cartridges. For instance, if you have a Dell inkjet printer, do you have to buy Dell ink, or can you buy the cheaper off brand ink cartridges, as long as they say they are inkjet printer ink and are compatible with Dell products? Most people find that the off brand ink cartridges work just as well; to get cheap ink for a Canon printer, just look for an off brand that says it works for Canon products, and so on. Other ways to get cheap printer ink is to buy your color printer ink and black printer ink at the same time, or buy bulk printer ink.
